In short: As of August 20, 2026, Sephora's US site lists no advent calendar at all. The page Sephora titles "Beauty Advent Calendars 2026" holds eight products, and every one of them is a fragrance sampler, a coffret or an after-advent set. The 2026 calendar currently making headlines belongs to Sephora's UK arm and is priced in pounds. No US price for any Sephora calendar could be verified on the day we checked.

We write buying guides, not reviews: nothing on this site has been opened, tasted or tested by us. Contents, prices and availability change every season — the retailer page you land on is the authoritative one.

That is an awkward answer to give a reader who came here to buy something. It is also the only accurate one we can write today, and the reason we are writing it is that almost nobody else is.

Search this term and you will find pages full of numbers. Door counts, item counts, a value figure with a comma in it. Most of those pages are quietly describing a box sold in Britain, in a currency the reader is not holding.

This page separates what Sephora has published from what has been written about Sephora. Then it does the arithmetic that can honestly be done, names the arithmetic that cannot, and tells you where that leaves you in early September.

What Sephora's US site listed on August 20, 2026

Sephora US keeps a category page at sephora.com/beauty/beauty-advent-calendars, and the page title reads "Beauty Advent Calendars 2026 | Sephora." We loaded it on August 20, 2026.

It contained no advent calendar.

The eight products rendered on that page, with the prices and value claims Sephora itself displayed:

  • Sephora Favorites, "Next Big Thing Perfume Sampler Set w/ Redeemable Voucher" — $95.00, marked $155.00 value, limited edition
  • Maison Margiela, "'REPLICA' Mini Perfume Coffret Set" — $75.00, marked $99.00 value, limited edition
  • Juliette has a gun, "Deluxe Mini Coffret Set" — $75.00, limited edition
  • Glossier, "Glossier You Perfume Sampler Set" — $15.00
  • PHLUR, "Fragrance Discovery Set" — $39.00, online only
  • Prada, "Les Infusions Discovery Set" — $30.00, marked $40.00 value
  • NEST New York, "Mini Fragrance Discovery Set Eau de Parfum" — $46.00, marked $84.00 value
  • SEPHORA COLLECTION, "After Advent Makeup & Skincare Gift Set" — $35.00, marked $79.00 value

Note the last one. Sephora is selling an after-advent set on a page named for advent calendars, while selling no advent calendar. That is a page waiting to be filled, and the retailer has left the 2026 title on it in the meantime.

The 2025 box is gone as well. Sephora's product URL for the 2025 Sephora Favorites calendar, /product/2025-advent-calendar-P518302, redirects to a search page reading "Sorry, this product is not available." The Canadian version of the same URL does the same thing.

So: no 2026 listing, no 2025 archive page, no US waitlist we could find. Anyone quoting you a Sephora US door count for 2026 today is quoting something other than Sephora.

The pound sign that goes missing

Here is where most coverage of this keyword goes wrong, and it goes wrong in a way that costs the reader money.

Sephora's UK arm has announced a 2026 calendar. The Evening Standard reported it on August 18, 2026: 25 doors, 41 items, "27 full-size products," a stated value of "over £1,000," and a price of "less than £250." The 2025 UK calendar was £225. Sephora UK is running a waitlist page for it, titled "Beauty Advent Calendar 2026 | SEPHORA UK."

Those are the numbers you have probably already seen. They are real. They are also British, and they describe a product that has never been listed on sephora.com.

Two things follow from that, and both matter. First, a US shopper cannot buy the box those figures describe by clicking a US retailer link. Second, converting £250 into dollars produces a number that no one anywhere has charged for anything.

So no conversion appears on this page. An exchange-rate figure derived from an unlaunched UK price is not a US price, and dressing it up as one is how this category misleads people every autumn.

What can be said in dollars-free terms is the shape of the UK offer. On the UK figures, £225 across 25 doors worked out to £9.00 a door in 2025. The 2026 ceiling of "less than £250" puts the upper bound at £10.00 a door. Useful as a sketch of what a flagship beauty calendar looks like. Not useful as a US shopping decision.

Three different boxes, one brand name

The second trap is subtler, and it survives even in careful writing. Sephora has put its name on several distinct calendars, and their contents are nothing like each other.

This article contains affiliate links. If you buy through one, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend what we would suggest to a friend. Our affiliate disclosure sets out how that works. The Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guides, 16 CFR Part 255, ask for a connection like ours to be disclosed clearly and conspicuously.

Contents below are as published by the retailer or brand on the date shown. Calendars change year to year, and listings are sometimes updated after launch — check the current listing before you buy.

Keep the field of beauty advent calendars on Amazon open in a second tab while you read this. It is a fair way to check whether the Sephora name is doing more work than the contents.

Sephora Collection Holiday Beauty Advent Calendar, 24 doors

The most recent SEPHORA COLLECTION calendar we could document is the 2025 box, and its brand copy is unusually specific about sizes. Its Amazon listing, ASIN B0FZN2RW31, brand field SEPHORA, states verbatim: "Set Includes: 12 full sizes, six travel sizes, and six exclusive accessories."

Twenty-four doors, then, split three ways. We read that listing on August 20, 2026, and it displayed no price at all — "No featured offers available."

The division that can be done is the contents ratio, and it is the most flattering number on this page:

  • 12 of 24 doors are full size — 50%
  • 6 of 24 are travel size — 25%
  • 6 of 24 are accessories — 25%

Half the doors holding full-size product is a genuinely strong ratio for a beauty calendar. Whether it is a good buy depends entirely on a price we could not verify, which is the frustrating half of the sentence.

Sephora Favorites: 25 Days of Beauty Must Haves, the 2025 box

A different box, with a different logic. The Amazon listing for "Sephora Favorites – 25 Days of Beauty Must Haves Advent Calendar," ASIN B0FRYM47FD, enumerates every item with its size and, for most, a size-class tag.

Before the contents, a discrepancy worth carrying with you. The bullet copy on that listing promises "24 daily beauty surprises." The description immediately below it says "a set of 25 beauty must-haves," and then lists twenty-five things.

We are not going to pick one. A listing that contradicts itself on its own door count tells you something about how carefully seasonal copy gets checked. That is worth more than our guess.

Counting the published list of 25 items by the tags the listing itself applies:

Size class as tagged Items Share
Full size 1 4%
Deluxe mini 11 44%
Mini 2 8%
Single sheet mask 1 4%
No size class given 10 40%

One item in twenty-five is explicitly labeled full size: a Danessa Myricks Beauty Lowlighter, 0.21 oz. Eleven are labeled deluxe mini, among them an OUAI leave-in at 25 mL, an Olaplex No. 7 oil at 7.5 mL, and an Armani Beauty My Way at 1.2 mL.

Read those volumes rather than the brand names. A 1.2 mL fragrance is a few wearings. A 0.5 mL lip oil, which is what the tarte Maracuja entry lists, is smaller than that.

The forty percent with no size class are the interesting group. Several look substantial by volume — a 50 mL Ordinary squalane cleanser, a 30 mL Sol de Janeiro mist — and several do not. Untagged does not mean full size, and it does not mean sample either. It means the listing did not say.

Set the two Sephora boxes side by side and the contrast is stark. One publishes 50% full size across 24 doors. The other publishes 4% explicitly full size across 25 items, with 44% flagged as deluxe minis. Same brand on the lid, entirely different propositions inside.

The delisted premium 2025 box

The third calendar is the one that generated most of the coverage you will find, and it is the one we can tell you least about.

"2025 Advent Calendar – Sephora Favorites" had its own product page on sephora.com. That page now redirects to "Sorry, this product is not available," so the original contents list, price and Sephora's own value claim are no longer readable at the source.

A figure of $99 for a $269 value circulates widely for a Sephora Favorites calendar. We could not confirm it on any qualifying page on August 20, 2026, so we are not publishing it as fact. It may well be right. It is not, today, checkable.

Why we are not giving you a price per door

Price per door is the one calculation this site exists to do, and on this page we cannot do it for a Sephora product. That deserves an explanation rather than a shrug.

The division needs two inputs: a price and a door count. We have door counts for both current Sephora calendars. Neither displayed a price on the day we checked, and Sephora's own 2025 pages are delisted, so there is no reference price to divide.

Inventing one would be trivial and would look authoritative. It would also be the exact failure this category is full of — a confident number with nothing underneath it. The method itself lives on our advent calendar guide, and it works the moment a real price appears in front of you.

What you can carry into that moment is the contents ratio, because it does not expire when the price changes. Fifty percent full-size doors justifies a much higher price per door than four percent does. Bring the ratio; supply the price from whatever listing you are actually looking at.

One habit is worth borrowing from Sephora's current page. The value multiples it publishes on its non-calendar sets are modest and legible: $155.00 against $95.00 is 1.63 times, and the After Advent set's $79.00 against $35.00 is 2.26 times. Any calendar claiming a multiple several times larger than those is doing something different with its arithmetic.

What is actually purchasable while you wait

September is early. Plenty of the beauty calendars people search for sit in waitlist limbo, and Sephora is not the only brand in that state.

Charlotte Tilbury's US site has its 2026 calendar up, titled "Coming Soon! Charlotte's Beauty Advent Calendar 2026," with a price displayed of $220.00 and a waitlist to join. That is a listed US dollar price, from the brand's own page, which puts it a long way ahead of Sephora on transparency this month. The door count on that page was not readable in our check, so the $220.00 stands alone for now.

Kiehl's US has nothing. Its advent calendar URL returned "The Page You Requested Was Not Found."

Ulta has something small and real. "Beauty Finds by ULTA Beauty — Countdown To New Year's" was listed and in stock at $20.00, marked a $50 value, for seven days of skincare. Do the division and it is $2.86 a door against a claimed $7.14 a door of value, a 2.5 times multiple.

That last one is a useful calibration. Seven doors at under three dollars each is a small, honest object. It is not a flagship beauty calendar, and it does not pretend to be.

Comparing across brands beats waiting on one. The advent calendars on Amazon run from a few dollars to a few hundred. Our LEGO advent calendar page shows what a legible per-door figure looks like when a brand publishes one. The beauty gift sets on Amazon cover similar contents without the daily-door format.

What to do now, concretely

Four steps, in order, and none of them involves a waitlist you will forget you joined.

Check the source, not the roundup. Sephora's own US category page is one URL. Load it. If a calendar appears, its price and contents will be on that page before they are anywhere else.

Read the currency symbol on any figure you are shown. If a page quotes 41 items or 27 full-size products, it is describing the UK box. Ask whether the writer said so.

Decide on the ratio, not the name. A 24-door box with 12 full-size products is a different purchase from a 25-item box with 11 deluxe minis, even when both say Sephora.

Set your own deadline. Beauty calendars that launch in September are gone from the good listings well before December, and a calendar arriving December 3 has already failed at its one job.

For everything else in the category — door counts, the sizes language, how the season's dates actually work — start at our main guide. The calendars we point to are gathered on the products page, and the rest of our guides sit in the article archive.

We will update this page when Sephora US lists something. Not before.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a Sephora advent calendar for 2026?

Not in the US, as of August 20, 2026. Sephora's own US page titled "Beauty Advent Calendars 2026" listed eight products that day, and none of them was an advent calendar. Sephora UK has announced a 2026 calendar and opened a waitlist, but that is a separate market with prices in pounds.

How much does the Sephora advent calendar cost?

No US price could be verified on August 20, 2026. Sephora's 2025 product page is delisted, and the two current Sephora-branded calendar listings we read displayed no price. A widely repeated figure of $99 for a $269 value appears in search results. We could not confirm it at the source, so we are not publishing it as fact.

What is inside the Sephora Collection advent calendar?

The brand copy on the 2025 SEPHORA COLLECTION calendar states 24 doors holding 12 full sizes, six travel sizes and six exclusive accessories. That works out to 50% full size, 25% travel size and 25% accessories. We read that listing on August 20, 2026.

Does the Sephora calendar have 24 doors or 25?

Depends which one. The SEPHORA COLLECTION calendar is described as 24. The Sephora Favorites "25 Days of Beauty Must Haves" listing contradicts itself, promising "24 daily beauty surprises" in its bullets while its description lists 25 items. Check the door count on the listing in front of you before dividing anything by it.

Are the products in a Sephora calendar full size?

Mostly no, and the proportion varies enormously between boxes. The Sephora Favorites 25-item list tagged exactly one product as full size and eleven as deluxe minis. The SEPHORA COLLECTION 24-door box publishes twelve full sizes. Those two ratios describe very different purchases.

Where can I buy a Sephora advent calendar in the US?

Nowhere on sephora.com as of August 20, 2026. Third-party listings for the 2025 boxes exist, and the ones we checked showed no available offers. Until Sephora lists a 2026 calendar, buying one means either a resale listing or a different brand.

Nora Whitfield covers seasonal retail and spent years buying beauty for a living, which is mostly why she distrusts a value claim on a lid. She has not opened any calendar named here, and no brand supplies this site. The about page explains the method, her author page covers the rest, and the affiliate disclosure says how the lights stay on.
